[TH] Bangkok - Day 1

Date of Travel - 15th August to 18th August

Our flight was delayed for 2.5 hours due to bad weather conditions at Hong Kong and since we had time to spare, we explored Changi Aiport! Surprisingly, there are various things that can be done during the wait!

1) Do duty free shopping
Bought a blush brush from Etude House and eye cream from Innisfree at a lower price as compared to retail stores outside of the airport.

2) Play games
Played this game where i'm supposed to match the shapes of different luggage bags. At first it was kinda boring but as you advance into other levels where the speed gets faster, you start to be more competitive! Yeap, thats my face on the huge screen for getting a good score. Haha.

Every boarding pass entitle you some tokens to play the UFO Catcher. Even my grandma enjoyed the game when she caught a capsule! The vouchers inside the capsule are for you to use for shopping but honestly, the voucher are of no use to me.

3) EAT
Due to the delay, each of us were given $20/$30(Can't remember the exact amount) for food. We had our lunch at Peach Garden Noodle House. Food was great! Love those crispy pancakes with red bean!

Our flight was via Cathay Pacific. Bought our tickets during their promotion so we paid less than $200 per ticket!

Our hotel was at Novotel Bangkok Platinum. It is just above Platinum mall 2 and right beside Platinum mall! We paid about $200 each which includes airport transfer.

Our first stop of the trip was Dinner at Sansab Restaurant, located on the 4th floor of Siam Paragon.

Saw AroiMakMak's post about the Tom Yum UFO and we decided that we need to eat it! The Tom Yum soup in the middle is quite spicy but with a drink, it will be fine! Honestly, we went there for the hype so i doubt i will be visiting again since i already have a picture on my Instagram feed. :P

After Dinner is dessert time at Kyo Roll En on GF of Siam Paragon.

The mochi dropped while i took my ice-cream and the kind staff replaced it for me seeing how i was snapping my ice cream! It was $4+ for the ice-cream, quite pricey but I'm a sucka for desserts so just take my money~

After dessert, we walked around Siam Night Market before we called it the night!
